Last week I managed to smuggle myself into a very fine gig organised for Edinburgh University freshers featuring Sky Larkin and Frightened Rabbit (pictured, getting their wrestle on). Though Sky Larkin were splendid, Glasgow’s Frightened Rabbit were stellar, playing grizzly and grinning indie-rock, funny and wise. A remastered version of their debut album Sing The Greys is coming out on Fat Cat in October, with more to come.
