Before the snow hit London, we were invited over to PSFK’s Good Ideas Salon on Friday.
Held at the impressive new Guardian HQ in Kings Cross and housing some fantastic speakers, providing some great insight into subjects I was familiar with and some I hadn’t even given thought to.
The talk that really stuck with me though was by Eva Rucki of the brilliant studio Troika. The craft, technology and attention to detail to realise what are very ambitious projects indeed was very humbling. Pictured is a close up of their sculpture for Heathrow’s Terminal 5, ‘The Cloud’ made of tens of thouands of individual mirrored panels all working in tandem to create patterns.
