One of my favourite smaller releases last year was Bowerbirds’ self-released EP ‘Danger At Sea’ – a wonderful record full of drum thumps, stomping feet and asthmatic accordian. Since then they’ve been signed and now have a full length LP titled ‘Hymns For A Dark Horse’.
