Eduardo Paolozzi

Date
17 September 2009

No excuses needed to post up a true great, but while screen printing yesterday my respect for Paolozzi grew. His vibrant prints almost sizzle at you through the screen, but are no more special than up close and personal. The image shown is taken at a current show of his work at Raven Row – a beautiful old town house gallery tucked away just off Liverpool Street. Venture upstairs to see some of his original (20+ colour) screen prints that are true masterpieces. If you see one thing this weekend, make it this.
