The Age of the Marvellous

Date

An exciting looking contemporary art show is opening tonight in the magnificent former Holy Trinity Church in London. Work from some of the cream of the art world including Turner Prize winner Keith Tyson, and (It’s Nice That Issue #2 contributor) Kate MccGwire. We’ve got a sneak preview of the work on show for those of you with curious tendencies…

Over a year in planning and production, The Age of the Marvellous was inspired by the Wunderkammer or more commonly known as The Cabinet of Curiosities to me or you. The notion of a cabinet filled with natural wonders, artificial exotica and relics is enough bait for the most uninspired of artists, let alone some of the most highly regarded in the industry.

Conceived and curated by All Visual Arts Director Joe La Placa, visitors should expect awe, wonder, and surprise.
