Maisie Broadhead

Date
27 October 2009

Her work sets out to re-interpret classic paintings that use jewellery as an intrinsic part of their meaning. The pieces are key props to the updated images, although the images themselves are easily strong enough to stand alone – a refreshingly original and inquisitive series.
