You may remember us posting a delightful piece of animation last year called The Chimney Sweep, credited to Joseph Mann and William Goldsmith. We featured Joseph’s work, but never had the pleasure of seeing William’s work, until this week.

His drawings are rich with an innocence and freedom that you can’t teach, and from his Glasgow base he’s working on his very own graphic novel, due to be published by Jonathan Cape in 2011 called Vignettes of Ystadt. Here is a little teaser from the book to whet the appetite.
