I tried to control my spending at the recent Pick Me Up fair at Somerset House, but there was one book I couldn’t walk away without – namely Jon McNaught’s beautiful Birchfield Close, published by NoBrow. Quiet, delicate little comics with a masterful grasp of atmosphere. Wonderful.
