Speed, romance and Paris, what more would you want on a Friday morning? The title of filmmaker Claude Lelouch’s 1976 film C’etait un Rendez-vous translates as ‘It was a date’, that lets the mind wander into fantasy, beautifully accompanied by Paris in the early hours. Also, maybe it’s cheesy, but what an ending.
