I would say that Jim Woodring makes the most most inspiring, hallucinogenic art around today but the father of Frank, Pupshaw, Pushpaw, Manhog and Trosper really shouldn’t need any further introduction. Although mainly silent, his world speaks for itself. The Woodring book ‘Seeing Things’, published by Fantagraphics Books, is a recent favourite of mine. And the man’s got tons of web sites!
