Continued understanding. Day 4: Comfort zones. Things you don’t know, are just things you don’t know yet. Learning is easy when you open your mind up to new ideas and find a personal way to interpret them.

To encourage this idea, I present Hans Rosling. Graphically, he’s an Edward Tufte in the rough. His intent is to uncover, translate, and communicate amazingly powerful ideas. So look past the colours, typography and occasionally rudimentary animation and leave your comfort zone long enough to understand the potential of his ideas.

At the very least, watch the first chapter.

If you make it to the end, then reward yourself with his second TED visit (and again be sure to watch to the end!).
