Absolute Sellout

Date
1 August 2011

Absolute Sellout (2009–Current) is a goods-based side hustle created and maintained by Joshua Kaplan (CA) and Benjamin Niznik (US). It is a collaborative exercise in art, design and curation that maybe seeks to turn would-be purchasers into (more) active participants. It is an invisible – virtual! – gallery that occasionally takes physical form, as at Manhattan shop and gallery Partners & Spade, where AS’ Class Projects was presented in September, 2010. Past shows include Objects & Literature, Going Out of Business, Ingredients of Summer, Poster Rack, Real World.
