Doncaster-born Alasdair McLellan is one of the fashion industry’s foremost photographers – he counts Vogue shoots by the dozen – but his work remains infused with the gritty ghost of his northern roots. Berlin-based magazine 032c (to which McLellan is a frequent contributor) are currently exhibiting images from Lads one of the photographer’s personal series, but it’s McLellan’s short and subtly poetic film about the young men of Repton Boxing Club that we’d like to point you to.
