LA-based graphic designer Aldis Ozolins' portfolio is bursting with ideas

As much as we pride ourselves on our ability to uncover amazing creative talent, we’re not adverse to being pointed in the right direction and we have Twitter follower Rhys Dando to thank for flagging up the talents of Aldis Ozolins.

The LA-based designer “fell in love with the synthesis of image and type and the incredible narrative opportunities that design affords” while studying at Passadena’s Art Center College of Design and it’s a pleasure to peruse his portfolio which is packed with innovation and experimentation. If Else is a magazine which explores the space between art and science while Dust to Dust is a book exploring the history of mining in Death Valley. Elsewhere there’s illustrated posters and identity work that shows a similar trans-media ease and flair. Cracking stuff, thanks Aldis (and Rhys!)
