Dramatic illustrations of iconic architecture by André Chiote

Cheesiness aside – let’s all take a moment to thank the museum. They are an integral part of culture, not just for the art within their walls, but for the buildings themselves. André Chiote, an illustrator based in Portugal, has created a series of minimalist prints to celebrate the people behind the design of these beautiful buildings. From the Brandhorst Museum in Germany to the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, André has focused on the form with the use of striking colours and clean lines. What a fantastic way of drawing attention to the exterior – just as good as the art inside.
