All-star cast including Bob Gill, Milton Glaser and Paula Scher create posters for design comp campaign

Astrid Stavro has drawn together an all-star cast of 46 design talents to create posters to promote Spanish design competition the Laus Awards. Each one shows work from the designer or studio with a call-for-entries for the competition, which aims to “celebrate, nurture and promote outstanding work in the Spanish design and advertising industries. 46 were chosen to mark the fact that this is the 46th edition of the awards, which are for the first time open to international entrants.

Each poster is based on an interpretation of the word “connections,” and range from abstract, graphical interpretations like Tony Brook’s to bizarre, NSFW approaches (here’s looking at you, Kesselskramer.)

“We feel incredibly honored and thankful to have such an amazing list of designers and creative directors taking part,” says Astrid. “The responses have been heartfelt and enthusiastic throughout.”

The series will be exhibited during the Laus Awards ceremony in Barcelona’s Design Museum and featured in the Laus Awards Annual. They will also become part of the permanent collection of the Barcelona Design Museum.

The campaign forms part of the Laus Awards’ wider new visual identity created by Daniel Ayuso, the new president of the ADG-FAD body with orchestrates them.
