Art: Atelier Bingo make fast, frenetic artwork that's full of experimentation

Date
5 July 2013

atelier bingo are Max and Adèle, two young artists from Paris who’ve upped sticks and relocated to rural France in pursuit of the quiet life and a less oppressive creative environment. Their studio space sits within a renovated factory where they work alongside sculptors, ceramicists and leather workers. It’s a hive of creativity that seems to imbue their work with a sense of experimentation and creative urgency that we can’t get enough of. Collage, screen print, gouache, pens, inks and digital (naturally) all feature in their busy work, creating a frenetic storm of colours and shapes that we’re incredibly partial to.
