Friday has come around again like the office cold, but rather than try and eradicate it with tissues and Lemsip, we’ll welcome the end of the week with welcome arms and a hot water bottle in tow. This week in the world Time named Trump its Person of the Year 2016 , Michael Gove and Ed Vaizey had a spat on Twitter about the Turner Prize and people have been talking about how Martin Creed’s anti-carol Christmas song should be this year’s festive number one.

For more natty tidbits from the internet, check out this week’s Best of the Web, where we’ve got all sorts of goodies.

Throw back alert – recently I have become obsessed with watching Robbie Williams live at Knebworth from 2003. What a man. Just the sheer volume of people is incredible! Here he is singing a personal favourite Feel “I’m a singer, I’m a songwriter and I’m a born entertainer…This is what I do!” (Lucy)
