Vibrant and crisp poster work from Paris designer Boris Gautier

Date
9 November 2015

Freelance designer Boris Gautier’s busy posters feel crisp and tidy. Working in Paris and keen to find full-time agency work, much of Boris’ work has been created for competitions and open calls for submissions, so it’s great to see such a variety of self-initiated work. The strongest posters are for the Tumblr publication Totally Drunk, which every year celebrates its one year anniversary through an online poster competition and was referenced last week when we swooned over Swiss designer Dennis Moya’s sleek work. A graphic interpretation of beer pong and a lairy-looking hip flask appear among more typographic-based posters, and give Boris’ work a sense of humour. Vibrant, fun but still well-composed, we look forward to seeing the work he creates once he gets his teeth into some meatier briefs.
