Take it from me, we’ve seen type made from lots of things, by lots of people. Many have done it brilliantly (none moreso than Mr.Sagmeister), and many have done it not so well, but regardless 3D type is most definitely à la mode. So, on chancing upon the work of Norwegian designer Ludvig Bruneau Rossow, my eyes my drawn to another beautifully conceived, and expertly crafted piece of three-dimensional communication that tugged on the childhood heartstrings. Type from trains – why didn’t we think of that?
