Hands up if you secretly/openly love the TV programs that display creaking tables covered in the diets of the morbidly obese, or piles of newspapers collected by heartbroken hoarders. Carrie M. Becker, a sculptor and photographer (who, judging by the dark tagline on this project may or may not have been through a divorce recently) has taken obsessive mass-hoarding and gluttony to a whole new level; building and photographing tiny models of junk-filled rooms in dollhouses to represent the once prim and house-proud Barbie’s decline into consumerist obsession and decay.
