Publication: Business brains through a creative lens from The Challenger's Almanac

The creative industry can be suspicious of the “business world” whose pin-stripe suits and baffling pie-charts often seem at odds with the values creatives hold dearest. But new publication The Challenger’s Almanac promises to break through the bullshit, via profiles of creatively-minded individuals who have achieved success with their own companies.

Through the experiences of people like designer Jessica Hische, Sugru’s Jane Ni Dhulchaointigh, David Hieatt of Hiut Denim and our very own Will Hudson, editor Meg Lobb wants to inform and inspire, while reassuring readers that it’s exactly people like them who are doing the most interesting things around. It’s beautifully-designed too, with the photographs of Alastair Sopp and Rasmus Keger, and illustrations by tattoo artist Josh Vyvyan, given equal weight to the words.

The project has smashed its initial Kickstarter target but there’s still a few hours left to get involved if it sounds like your cup of tea. Which to be fair, it probably does…
