Frustratingly, the extent of information about Brooklyn-based creative Chen Chen is limited to contact information, and the brilliantly terse description: “Chen Chen is a product designer.” Nobody can argue with the details, but the line seems misleading. Chen’s body of work consists of product design in the loosest sense – not cameras, kettles and chairs like you might expect, but cement-filled Budweiser nun chucks, stone-embedded cement, and faux meat-cut coasters. Good work? You bet. Product design? Sure, why not…
