Colophon show off their latest work at new exhibition in Amsterdam

Date
24 January 2013

See that sans-serif dotted around on our website? That’s Aperçu, a font designed by the inimitable Colophon Foundry, and probably one of the most recognisable faces around right now. We’re massive fans of Ant and Ed, the guys behind the type – heck we use their letters every day of the week – so we were pretty excited to hear about their show in Amsterdam that started just before the festive season.

No Cash Value serves as a showcase for Value, a brand new font that comes in both serif and sans-serif faces. The show demonstrated the font in all its glory, plastered on walls, installations and in a seriously nice catalogue, designed in collaboration with Benjamin Critton that was themed around the Dollar, Euro and Pound symbols. What other foundries do you know that throw a party to celebrate a new font? Now you know why we like them so much.

You can see No Cash Value at Oz Gallery, Amsterdam until January 27.
