Ed Atkins at Tate Britain

Date
13 October 2011

Ed Atkins is a young, London-based artist who makes short films that – unlike a lot of art at the moment – really couldn’t have been made in any other time than now. His work is about slippery digital surfaces and bassy sounds that hit you hard. I’m excited to see what he does next. At the moment he has a show at Tate Britain, as part of their Art Now series, has a new commission showing at Frieze Art Fair as part of the film programme, and next month will be collaborating with James Richards and Haroon Mirza at PERFORMA in New York.
