There are many, many things I love about Erica Baum’s Dog Ear. The poetic simplicity of words leaning off a diagonal edge, literally at right angles to their original context and isolated within their koncrete-like square, forming something more significant in their happy chance. There is also that pleasing element of library, second hand or borrowed books when past readers leave traces in creases at the corner of a page.
