Eschewing popular trends in architecture, FAT (Fashion Architecture Taste) create work that’s bright and decorative and, most importantly, all of their own. But let’s not judge these buildings just by their intricate facades. FAT’s work is layered not only with a mix of colourful materials but also with serious academic nous – they know function just as well as form, and consistently produce strikingly effective composites of the two.
