Lolcats arrive in print thanks to Felipe, coolest cat on Urf

Usually when great minds come together to collaborate the results are groundbreaking, progressive and so much more accomplished than a single mind could achieve if left to its own devices. Not so with the recent union of Mirko Borsche, illustrator Moritz Wiegand and Sabine Magnet who have recently finished work on the most useless yet brilliant piece of print we’ve ever come across.

I Iz Felipe is the story of the self-proclaimed “coolest cat on earth” and takes the viewer on a journey through his extraordinary musings. I use the word “journey” very loosely here, as it’s essentially just a load of lolcats-style rambling punctuated by ridiculous illustrations. The most groundbreaking thing about this piece of print is that usually this kind of nonsense stays firmly online, but through the collective vision of three extraordinary creatives it’s been brought out of the internet and onto the page. It was only a matter of time before cats asserted their dominance over the physical world…
