Independent filmmakers turned a documentary eye on the experts of culture, art and struggles of the american folk – these locals, the ‘talking heads’, are as fascinating and real as it gets. Grandma’s Bottle Village: The Art of Tressa Prisbrey was the incredible story that introduced it to us but you could start with anything on here and call it a day till you’ve seen them all.
