Fredrik Paulsen

There’s an undeniable brilliance to the portfolio of furniture designer Fredrik Paulsen. It features a whole host of projects that play with typically mundane articles of hardware – swivel chairs, desk lamps, magazine racks – and elevate them to the level of true design classics. Unsurprisingly it’s tricky to pick a favourite from such a generous plethora of creations, but for it’s sheer whimsy, the Garden Table definitely deserves an honorable mention. It may not be large enough to sit down to a roast at, but it provides the perfect platform for a cup of tea after a hard day on the allotment.
