Date
9 January 2012

What do you get if you take the worlds first ever science fiction film, lovingly remastered in beautiful colour to it’s full 16 minutes and then ask one of France’s most successful musical acts to re-write a brand new score for it? Something rather special that’s what. A Trip to the Moon or Le Voyage dans la Lune in its native tongue was written and directed by Georges Méliès in 1902 – nicknamed the “Cinemagician,” a nod to his dedication to innovate and push boundaries in cinema. The new film and album are released on February 7 – see/hear them.
