Glenn Brown

Glenn Brown was nominated for the Turner Prize back in 2000 and since then I’ll admit to not regularly familiarising myself with his work. On reading that he had an upcoming show imminent at Gallery Max Hetzler Temporary in Berlin, I thought there was no better time to re-visit a painterly master. The exhibition will include “portraits, still-lifes, female figures, a large painting of a horse head and sculptures made out of oil splashes in a very abstract manner.” What more temptation do you need to make sure the British artist is firmly on your radar?
