Gwendal Le Bec’s new website is chock-full of wonderful new work

French illustrator Gwendal Le Bec has a snazzy new website and a flurry of work he’s done over the past year takes pride of place. We last featured the illustrator’s eclectic work in 2014, and his latest illustrations are just as humorous and clever as ever. With commissions for The New York Times, The Guardian and The Wall Street Journal Gwendal’s crisply coloured and thinly outlined work lends itself perfectly to editorial spreads. Subtle yet still communicative, the joy of Gwendel’s illustrations is in the relationships he creates between his characters with just a few simple gestures, expressions or sweeps of his pen.
