HelloMe designs additional Warp Records website to celebrate its 2016 releases

Berlin-based design studio HelloMe has designed an additional website for Warp Records to celebrate its past year. The captivating cube shaped portal showcases the diverse roster of the label and the considered design of the studio. The design follows on from a longstanding collaboration between the pair which this website proves to be a match made in heaven.

One of the reasons for such strong branding across Warp’s platforms is due to a shared outlook between HelloMe and Warp. “Ever since our first collaboration in 2012 Warp Records and HelloMe have been in a consistent exchange on our shared ideas, creative vision and beliefs,” explains the studio. The pair collaborated on the Warp25 visual identity back in 2014, as well as a complete redesign of the label’s branding last year.

2016.warp.net is the next step in their collaboration which “serves as a playful digital space to reflect on an exciting year for the label with releases from Aphex Twin, Hudson Mohawke, Danny Brown and many more”. Once you enter the website a list of the label’s releases quickly flashes up before you enter a space to explore them individually.

The website’s design is both informative and playful, enhanced by its simplicity whilst still being innovative. “Together with the team at Warp we developed the concept, creative directed and designed the site and managed the content creation from the design perspective, while our long-term collaborator Armin Unruh handled the development,” explains HelloMe. “Warp have gathered exciting and exclusive content which will drop throughout the end of the year – so keep an eye out.”
