Henry Hargreaves

Henry Hargreaves laughs in the face of poignant art with his cheeky photography projects that often use food in weird and witty ways. Take this Bacon Alphabet, for instance – who knew Olde English and a fry-up had so much in common? Such pleasingly pointless revelations are commonplace while browsing through his archive of eye-catching and well composed concepts: like learning what condemned convicts’ last meals might have looked like, or that anyone can make a Damien Hirst dot painting if they’ve got a bag of sweets (oh wait, we already knew that.)
