Here 2015 Speaker Profile: SHOWstudio editor Lou Stoppard

Date
2 April 2015

In the run-up to our summer creative symposium Here, which takes place in London on 12 June, we’ll be profiling the amazing creatives who’ll be taking to the stage. Today we’re looking at SHOWstudio’s Lou Stoppard.

Fashion is an industry clamouring with contesting voices, but writer, reporter and broadcaster Lou Stoppard’s resonates longer and louder than most. As editor of Nick Knight’s fashion film platform SHOWstudio, she interviews leading figures like Paul Smith, Dylan Jones and Nicola Formichetti, and chairs dynamic and provocative panel discussions.

She also writes for leading publications like Elle, AnOther, Dazed, i-D and The Times, creating a progressive debate about fashion and culture with her vigorous and animated narrative, and driving a critical commentary of the newest ideas contemporary culture has to offer.

As well as Lou, this year’s Here speakers are digital guru Iain Tait, Grand Budapest graphic designer Annie Atkins, artist and designer Scott King, photographic duo Blommers Schumm, karlssonwilker’s Hjalti Karlsson and ManvsMachine founder Mike Alderson.

We’ll also be welcoming set designer Anna Lomax, illustrator Jordy van den Nieuwendijk, graphic designer Charlotte Heal and Nathan Cowen and Jacob Klein, the brains behind Haw-lin.
