The House of Peroni is back to celebrate Rome's dizzying cultural diversity
Back in the spring, The House of Peroni took over a central London townhouse with a celebration of the retro 1960s inspired creativity which so influenced Peroni’s founders. Next month it’s back and this time around it will be a feast of food, drink, art, design and fashion that reflects the cultural diversity of Rome.
The Eternal City has long captured the world’s imagination, but this is about the city’s current scene in the context of its glorious history. Mixologist Federico Riezzo’s intriguing and innovative creations will bring together ancient and modern, while Bottega Wapping’s menus encapsulate how contemporary Italian cuisine stays true to its heritage.
Visitors will come face-to-face with digital murals and reimagined artworks based on some of Rome’s most famous facades. Meanwhile throughout the month there’ll be workshops led by the likes of boutique florists Rebel Rebel on garland making, tailors Diderot on bespoke bowties and Odette Toilette on the scents of the city.
