My daily routine tends to start with a few hours working in the Hoxton Hotel. I’m not a big fan of the office environment, so I like to spend as much time as possible working in less formal spaces. The Hoxton Hotel is one of my favorite places and a real magnet for creatives from abroad coming through town. Each morning I encounter Benedict Radcliffe’s Dalston Jazz Car. A double ended, frontless car. It’s a conversation piece in more ways than one, as Ben’s idea is to not just get people to talk about the car as an art object, but also to encourage people to talk inside the car as well. I love it, if for no other reason than it’s an almost daily reminder for me that there are no real limits to the imagination.
