Illustration: Theft-worthy gig posters from Dusty Dirtweed

Date

What’s the point of even trying to do anything cool when you know this guy’s on planet earth at the same time as you. How annoying! These posters by Dusty Dirtweed (aka Dustyn Peterman) are becoming hot property in his hometown of San Diego, where they don’t even last that long on the walls without someone ripping them down to adorn their bedroom. Theft, I believe, is the mark of a truly excellent concert poster and to be honest, if I saw one of these bad boys fluttering on a wall near some sticky-floored gig venue, I’d half-inch it in a second. Dusty’s lo-fi illustrations are making me want to flip my desk up, doodle some dicks on some paper and go to the library to make some zines that your mother wouldn’t approve of. Read a really funny interview with him over on San Diego City Beat
