onedotzero’s Adventures in Motion has come and gone for the year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still revel in the glory of the impressive visuals that were on display. One of our favourites featured the volcanic scourge of 2010 tourism, Eyjafjallajökull, rendered in 3D by virtue of some complex hand-drawn webs and the ever-stunning technique of projection mapping. In this video, artist Joanie Lemercier discusses the process behind the installation and his obsession with the infamous ash cloud. Fascinating from start to finish.
