When product design really piques our interest here at It’s Mice That, it often involves a playful, innovative and/or creative re-imagining of a very mundane object. So it is with Joey Roth’s Felt Mouse which the American designer has fashioned from wool felt, teak, and aluminium, producing an exciting take on something we use every day but which rarely warrants even a moment’s thought.

A nice touch is that over time the mouse moulds to the individual using it, as the felt “slowly conforms to the hand’s individual shape and motion.” In so doing, the Felt Mouse becomes personalised as “it transitions from a mass produced product to a unique tool that specifically fits its user.” Lovely stuff.
