Joseph Veazey’s humourous illustration work shows his Adult Swim past

Date
25 February 2015

Having cut his teeth at Adult Swim, Joseph Veazey has since been art directing for label Azede Jean-Pierre and freelancing all over New York City. He also has a fine knack for making engaging and fun self-promotional printed matter and turning his sketchbooks into true works of art.

A wonder at paper-craft, Joseph has made some brilliant invitations and holiday cards with flora, fauna, pull-out tongues and lazy eyes. There’s a nice dose of humour to all his work, clearly informed by his time making immersive billboards for Adult Swim’s Eric Andre Show and festival programmes involving saggy faces and 3D glasses. Clearly a legacy worth holding on to.
