Kareem Rizk

Remember those heady childhood afternoons when hours were spent cutting and pasting bits of magazine and newspaper to form huge swathes of gluey mess? Paste was eaten or smeared up your arms where it would invariably stay until you could be coerced into a hot bath. That was collage, pure and simple. Kareem Rizk clearly never got over his childhood obsession with this hands-on process but has somewhat refined the technique, cutting, layering and tearing found imagery into polished works of visual communication. He also does it with Photoshop, but handmade is best!
