HarrimanSteel overhaul Tokyo Fixed in transformation to Kinoko Custom Cycles

Londoners who spend their time pedalling about the city will long have been familiar with the excellent work of Tokyo Fixed, a Soho store which does much more with bikes than the name would suggest. The guys there specialise in finding the very best products available for riders, from handmade steel frames from Japan to bombproof rucksacks and panniers as well as clothing that means you don’t have to wear lycra on your bike 100% of the time (though some of us still choose to). But having established themselves as a firm favourite in the city, Tokyo Fixed has undergone something of a transformation.

Henceforth Tokyo Fixed will be known as Kinoko Custom Cycles, and to help them with this metamorphosis they’ve employed our neighbours HarrimanSteel to rebrand them. The HarrimanSteel team have done much more that simply giving the store a new logo though; they’ve undergone a large-scale overhaul of every single aspect of the business, kitting out their new 2,940 square foot space, furnishing them with a brand new website and yes, giving them a slick new logo mark.

All in all they’ve transformed a well-respected but slightly DIY-looking establishment into a full-blown fantasy cycle emporium with a stylish-looking public face that matches their commitment to quality in the products they stock. I for one can’t wait to head down on payday. Stuff eating meals this month.
