A few months back, the unassuming Kyuhyung Cho came to visit us in the studio armed with an incredibly keen and conceptual take on typography, and with it some enviable projects. The one that really stole the show was Pictograph Fonts, a witty transformation of a typeface into a wingdings-smashing image-creation tool, giving rise to beautiful patterns and, in turn, beautifully-printed products. Check out the video for a visual explanation, and make sure you stick around until 1.58s – to see the italic version of his font blow the characters off the page. Very nice.
