Using Alzheimer’s disease as the basis of a photographic project is a brave move. The condition affects so many directly or indirectly that it’s impossible to know how it will be received – can simple photography do justice to such a bewilderingly complex condition? They may not brighten up your day but Leah’s images deserve recognition for dealing so unflinchingly with a truly harrowing subject.
