Although Swiss image maker Linus Bill has recently updated his website, this post serves as a reminder of one of Bill’s previous projects – a noteworthy contribution to FOAM’s Fotografiemuseum 2010, for which the artist – unhappy with the space he was given to hang his work – decided to create a scale model of other rooms he much preferred. Bill set about filling his miniature gallery with appropriately tiny art works before photographing the results to create a strangely misleading exhibition experience. Smoke and mirrors? No, just a few bits of wood and some deceptively small prints, as the slideshow reveals…
