Emerging out of the mind-altering era of 1970s illustration, Lou Beach (which is actually the phonetic pronunciation of his real last name, Lubicz) has created definitive collage visuals for the likes of Rolling Stone magazine and The New York Times, apt sleeve art and sound visuals for Weird Al Yankovic, The Carpenters and Ennio Morricone, and finally, drawn quotes about his illustration like “much better than mine,” from Terry Gilliam.
