Being vaguely familiar with “hacking” (something like the re-appropriation of a device or machine for all together more artistic and, most importantly, entertaining ends), Matthew Tully has gone analog with this concept and made excellent printing contraptions from everyday furniture with a happy logic to each. The “ride-on rocking chair press” is exactly that – ideal for lino – or a relief pattern press that benefits from tipping backwards on your seat (pictured). He also explores new techniques in printing itself with great results from a little bleach added to your regular inkjet.
