Prepare to be dazzled by Michael Bodiam's magnificent photography

Date

Michael Bodiam is the complete photographer – he cannot take a dud photo. Whether cleverly arranging objects from the comfort of his studio or trekking through rugged landscapes to capture instances of natural compositional beauty, his lens is continually faultless.

When I first discovered Michael’s work I failed to understand the navigation of his website and thought he was just a studio photographer. Still, his shots of Icelandic rock were some of the nicest I’d seen and warranted a post in their own right. But when I finally worked out how to click the right buttons and landed on his landscape shots my admiration increased tenfold. Michael’s ability to capture the beautiful environments in which he finds himself is enviable in the extreme – his understanding of light, composition and a nice bit of hillside combine to produce images that I’ll happily return to again and again. Stunning.
